When Masters was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus in her teens, she was told by the doctor to cut out Gluten, Dairy and Meat in an attempt to find her trigger. She felt better almost immediately, and ever since she has lived her life on a diet rich in plant-based foods and fish. Her book is a reflection of her life choices, and despite the connotations that the title might have, this is not a book full of liquidated recipes. As well as smoothies and soups, she also shares some appetisers, salads and nutritious main meals.
